I’m so excited to take part in the Stay Home Reading Rush this weekend (16th – 19th April), and thought I would kick it off with the #stayhomereadingrush questions:
How is your reading going while staying home?
Very well, I alternate between physical and audio books when I am cooking or doing household chores.
Where have you been reading at home?
Everywhere! There has been no restrictions on it.
Best book you’ve read during isolation?
Night Film by Marisha Pessl which I read for the Creepy Book Club.
What’s your favourite feel good book?
I will mostly pick up a graphic novel or Manga for something feel good. I love the Adventure Time and Chew comics for cheering myself up.
Book you wish you could buy or borrow from the library?
I have recently come across S. by J.J. Abrams and Doug Dorst, which I really want to see in person!
Author you want to shout out during this time?
Stephen King! I have started collecting his books, and will be having my own personal StephenKingathon in April. His tweets during this time have been making me smile too!
What is your Reading Rush TBR?
As pictured below. I decided to pick one small book and a graphic novel for each prompt. My plan is to tackle a prompt a day.

Lyras Oxford by Philip Pullman
Cannibal, Vol. 1
Read a book in the same room the whole time
Orbiting Jupiter by Gary D. Schmidt
Life is Strange: Dust
Read a book set somewhere you wish you could go
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
I hate Fairyland, Vol. 1: Madly Ever After
Read a book that will make you smile
The Butterfly Lion by Michael Morpurgo
Adventure Time: Candy Capers
What are you reading over this readathon? Let me know in the comments.
