Anyone who knows me knows I love a Horror film; the good, the bad and the ugly! I love cheesy horror, scary horror, physiological horror, and anything in-between (except torture porn, get away from me right now!). Whilst I never get to go to the cinema and usually actually watch films on demand a year later 😦 (#mumlife). I still get SUPER excited about seeing them regardless. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this? In no particular order, here are my most anticipated horror films of 2020.

Natural Deodorants – What I’ve used
Do you want to switch to a natural deodorant, but don't know where to start? I have been there, and I have learnt alot (there's still so much more to learn) so I thought it would be a great idea to share what I've learnt and the deodorants I've tried!
The Burden of being Invisible
We all know the risks of postpartam depression after you give birth. Theres resources always being discussed, and doctors to talk to, etc. But what if you don't have postpartam depression, you have just fallen into the trap of being invisible as a person to everyone around you?
How to deal with Negative People
We have all come across those perpetual 'Negative Nancies', the people that manage to put a downer on even the most exciting of news! As you get older you start to filter these out of your friendship group, however, how do you deal with them in your family or as co-workers? This is something I have been trying to learn over my whole working life, and whilst I still find it hard to deal with toxic negative people, I wanted to share with you what I've learnt!
Bullet Journal August
I decided to mix up my bullet journal this month, simplifying how it looks. I'm really pleased with the result, hope it works for me!
Switching off for better health
I'm always looking for ways to look after myself and try and keep my mental health in a good place. A great place to start, I found, was through restricting my social media time, in an attempt to be more present and to get a tad more sleep - something I'm in dire need of!
Portside Soap Company Review
Have you switched to bars yet? They are hands down my favourite thing to use in the bathroom, they smell delicious, are stripped down of unnecessary chemicals and are better for the environment! I buy most of mine at a local shop who have recently opened up a website for anyone not close by - Portside Soap Company!
What I make at home
In my quest to cut out single use plastic in my bathroom, and to streamline my skincare into an easier routine, I have started making some of my own essentials. Whilst this may not be for everyone, it is a great place to start if you want to be more aware of what goes into your products.
Bullet Journal – July
I really struggled this month as I wasn't inspired at all, which is why it is being uploaded over a week into July :o. Once I had the butterfly inspiration though, it flowed quite well and I introduced some paper stock!
Switching to Cloth Nappies
When I decided many years ago that I wasn't going to have children, their large footprint on the environment and the concern for over the future of our world were driving factors. Once our beautiful surprise decided to happen these concerns were at the forefront of my mind throughout the pregnancy. One thing I knew was that I was going to use cloth nappies! It has taken a year to get my butt in gear (mum life!) but we have finally made the switch and I couldn't be happier. In fact, I'm annoyed with myself for not doing it sooner as it was in no way a hassle and we have used so many disposables in that time!
